Greenland Aapilattoq (From North)
Aappilattoq is a tiny settlement in southern Greenland, dramatically squeezed between the sea and steep, rugged mountains. With only around 80 inhabitants, colorful houses and a life still strongly shaped by fishing and hunting,
Photography Tips
When flying the drone here (if permitted by the government of Greenland and the AECO (if not on a private boat)), please follow the rules and never fly above the settlement, neither start the drone directly in it.
Travel Information
Aappilattoq feels wonderfully remote and authentic. Respect the space of the locals when being there. Dont hike alone outside of town since this is still Polar Bear territory. Only go with rifle handlers or handle one yourself.
