Greenland Peaks Eternity Fjord

The mountains of Eternity Fjord (Evighedsfjorden) rise almost vertically from the water, forming a dramatic landscape of jagged granite and gneiss peaks, deep valleys and hanging glaciers. Several summits approach 2,000m, while the fjord itself winds for roughly 100 km through one of the most remote mountain regions of West Greenland.

Be ready every corner of this fjord. Put on a fairly high shutter speed to keep the images sharp. If necessary, push the ISO a bit and correct in post. Dont forget to have some water in the frame to give people a sense of where you are.

The mountains are best experienced from the water, with boat excursions travelling into Eternity Fjord from Maniitsoq. There are no roads into the fjord. Early mornings can only be seen here on a multi-day trip.
