Greenland Arctic Station to Qeqertarsuaq Football Pitch

Qeqertarsuaq’s football pitch is one of Greenland’s most spectacular sporting grounds, sitting directly beside the black-sand beach of Sortsand with the waters of Disko Bay just beyond. The bright green artificial turf creates an extraordinary contrast with the dark volcanic landscape, surrounding red basalt mountains and, in summer, icebergs drifting offshore.

Try different positions of the angle in terms of height of the drone and the pitch and tilt. I personally didnt find it the easiest to capture in order to find a good ratio of water and the pitch without having it too flat.

The pitch is located right on Sortsand beach at the eastern edge of Qeqertarsuaq, next to the heliport, and is easily reached on foot from the town center. In summer, Qeqertarsuaq is connected by Disko Line passenger boats.
