This tower is part of the Fishermans Bastion located in the Castle district in Budapest. If you check the satellite image you can see the entire building which has a huge variety of different angles onto the city and the Danube river.

Photography Tips

I came here in the early morning hours to avoid the crowd and after the blue hour to capture the blue and orange colors. Since this part of the Bastion is at the very end, it is not too crowded, even at sunset.

Travel Information

This tower is part of the castle district. The public transportation system in Budapest is excellent. You can use the tram, busses, cabs, or call yourself an Uber to get around quickly. Almost no need to have a rental car when staying within the city center,
