Hungary Fireworks over Budapest city

Every year at august 20 it has the greatest holiday in Hungary. This is the Saint Stephen king memorial day, New bread's celebration day and we celebrate the founding of the Hungarian state in this day.
The crown of the day the fireworks at 9:00 PM.
It is many place from where you take good photos. My spot was in 2023 on the top of the Harmashatar-hegy.

Photography Tips

You need a tripod and a big telephoto lens.
Actually it is enough 200mm to but if you have a bigger lens take with yourself.

The fireworks is very popular. If you want to good place you need to go much before 9PM. I gone there 6:30PM

Travel Information

Unfortunetly it is not avaible public transport there.
If you want to got to this spot you have to rent a car.
