You should go faaaaaaar to find peace... Lot's of people are there, but if you walk a little bit further the parking place, you will passby all the crowd and find others photographers
And you should be careful with waves that can be powerful. So always watch and be ready to take your tripod and step back as regularly a bigger wave arrive and move the big block of ice in front towards you.
