Gullfoss (the golden waterfall) is part of the "Golden Circle" and therefor one of the most visited waterfalls on Iceland. He lies in the south of the country and isn't that far away from the geysir Strokkur.
If you are lucky you can pretty often see a rainbow during sunny days because there is extremely much spray from the water.

Travel Information
The waterfall is very easy to find and has 2 pretty big parking places. The upper one is bigger, but if it's raining or if you are in a hurry I would recommend the other one because it's nearer to the Gullfoss waterfall and the signs only show the bigger one, so most of the people are not using this one.
