This spot is located at one of the biggest waterfalls in Europe.

Photography Tips

Best time is in the afternoon I think. But don't arrive to late because of it's depth it gets dark quite fast.

I prefer the east side of the waterfall like on this picture.

Travel Information

Dettifoss offers many perspectives and can be visited from both sides but you have to drive about 1hour to get on the other side. The parking is located about 15min. walk from the waterfall and has some steps and stones.
