Driving the F208 to Landmannalaugar you will find many interesting shapes and rocks / mountains which let you feel to right on Mars. Mostly overlooked due to the closeby red craters, this spot is not short in making you speechless. Mostly overseen from the ground, you should take out your drone.

Photography Tips

Go early or late since during the day there might be scenic touristic flights with helicopters or smaller airplanes. You need to use your drone to get those photos.

Travel Information

Check www.safetravel.is for safety and travel information. F-Roads require a 4x4 car. As in comparison to other F-Roads, this one if fairly easy to drive to. However, drive slow and carefully and if you park, make sure other cars can still pass by easily.
