The green lagoon in the middle of the highlands is something which you need to see with your own eyes. It's hard to believe that something like this really exists. The structure might change every year due to the severe and heavy weather in the winter month in the highlands.

Photography Tips

For taking photos of this spot with your camera it is essential to bring your ultra-wide angle. Try to find a spot on one of the higher sand dunes and go till the edge to get the best views. Sand dunes might change from day to day. Be also patient with the weather as this is unpredictable in this region.

Travel Information

To reach this area, you need to take the F210. Please be extremely careful since this road is one of the toughest F-Roads and only for people who know how to cross rivers and have a bigger 4x4 truck.
