Jökulsarlon is the place everyone goes. Heinaberg is a bit more remote but much lesser people and also lovely ice and water. It was stunning, when we arrived here, as we didn't expect what we saw.

Travel Information

It's a bit off the ring road and the road to the parking is quite bumpy, so drive carefully but you easily can make it with a normal car - no 4x4 required!
