ACE High-Station Livorno Monte Giogo ex base NATO. Every period of the year is great for a ride in this very suggestive place. The base is located at 1500 meters above sea level: there is really an excellent visibility for the starry sky

Travel Information

USE GPS coordinate. The road is ruined and not paved in the last stretch, I recommend using a motorcycle, off road or anyway a normal car not too low.
All year long for a normal excursion, May, June, July, August for the Milky Way and all year long for a good star trail. In winter it snows.
