I have shot this spot during the Aqua Alta (high tide) and the curve on the left accentuate the level of water where you can hardly see the seam. Along the Riva degli Schiavoni you will find many of these Venitian lanterns to shoot from but this spot is the favorite amongst photographers..

Photography Tips

Be there early in the morning where you get more chance for fog (I didn't) and there is less traffic. Tripod is a must. A 10 stopper is too!
