Italy Lake Karersee (Carezza)

One of the most magical spots to capture rocky peaks in the Carezza Dolomites (South Tyrol) region. Water is green and due to its surroundings, not much wind to disturb the surface. Emerald Green colors based on the reflections - we did have a layer of pollen floating.

Photography Tips

Keep your widest angle lens handy. I didn’t use any filters, but you could benefit from it.

Travel Information

We stayed in Nova Levante (10 min away) and drove early AM for the sunrise (first ones to get there for the 5:23am sunrise). Parked in the spot right near the lake (€1/hr). Bus stop is also nearby.
