Popular location in Italy for having some vacation on the mountain side, very close to famous locations like Cortina and San Candido. Lake is used for a Dam but also for some kayak competition and it's nicely surrounded by mountain peaks.

Photography Tips

There are 3 bridges on the lake, in my opinion best pictures can be taken from bridges. Avoid central hours of the day or you will be forced to use exposure bracketing (it's not the case for this picture)
