The secluded "valley" within the mountain range of the Rosengarten offers stunning views on the Vajolet Towers. This region is famous for its moody low hanging clouds in the morning hours and its stunning sunsets.

Photography Tips

Simply frame the Vajolet Towers with the mountains to the left and right. On the right hand side you will find the highest mountain of the region, the "Rosengartenspitze". Sunsets offer perfect backlight.

Travel Information

From Vigo di Fassa you can either take the cable car or start your hike. The total difference in height is 1.428m (cable car covers around 650m). The hike lets you pass several huts till you reach a steeper part after the Rifugio Vajolet. Take the path up to the "Gartlhütte". Some parts are secured by a rope. For savety reasons due to loose rock, better bring a helmet. The total hikes up to the viewpoint takes around 2,5h-3h.
