Italy View to the west from Ponte dell'Accademia, Venice
The Ponte dell'Accademia is one of four bridges spanning the Grand Canal and connecting Campo S. Vidal with Campo della Carità, and the Sestieri San Marco with Dorsoduro. It owes its name to the Gallerie dell'Accademia, Venice's most important collection of paintings, located on Campo della Carità.
