During the night Toyko comes to life. This vibrant city is a great place for roam around during the night. There are so many lights, so much life. You should go out and explore the different corners.

This square is perfect for a longtime-exposure with the Tokyo in the background. The crosswalk gives you the perfect elevated perspective.

For a long exposure like this, you should work with an ND filter and the bulb mode on your camera. Sometimes the traffic light periods are long. If you want to get the light effect from the cars in both ways, you need to create this picture for at least 2 minutes, or you can use photo stacking afterwards. Don´t forget the normal camera set-up with a tripod and the manual focus.

In Tokyo you can easily use the railway system. The trains are always on time and there is always a good fast connection.
