The Azabudai Hills Sky Lobby in the 33rd floor offers a great view on Tokyo Tower and the city from above. In my eyes it is one of the best "free" observation decks in Tokyo. You just need to buy a drink before you enter the lobby.

Photography Tips

Bring something like a thin towel and tie it around your lens to avoid the reflections on the glass through which you are shooting.

Travel Information

Come a bit earlier than sunset. Sometimes it can be crowded and it is hard to get the "best spot" for a shot.

In generell the best travel option in Tokyo is the metro system. Nearly every 3-4 minutes the trains are coming just in time. Book your Suica card for the payment to your wallet. It is the most effective way to pay at the gates to the trains.
