Shibuya Scramble Crossing is world famous. It is located in front of the Shibuya Station Hachikō exit and stops vehicles in all directions to allow pedestrians to inundate the entire intersection.

Precisely because there are so many people here, this also attracts the car tuning and collector scene, who come here to show off their cars! When a Nissan Skyline from the famous movie Tokyo Drift appears, you should be ready to take your shot!

Photography Tips

So-called “panic shots” certainly require a lot of practice. You can practise perfectly here by setting your shutter to 1/8 - 1/30, following the car with your camera in parallel same speed. High shutter is mandatory.

Go exactly at the marked spot for the shots. We checked every corner of the crossing and this is definitely the best spot for these shots.

Travel Information

In generell the best travel option in Tokyo is the metro system. Nearly every 3-4 minutes the trains are coming just in time. Book your Suica card for the payment to your wallet. It is the most effective way to pay at the gates to the trains.
