Kenya Massai village tours, Amboseli

Just right before the entrance gate to Amboseli National Park is a place where you can book a Massai Village Tour. You learn a lot about the culture, their living style and ceremonies. During that tour it is allowed to do pictures.

If you have a specific scene in mind with a specific person you can ask the guy who is doing the tour if its fine to shoot photographing your ideas. In my case, it wasn't a problem. I was allowed to position my chosen people in specific lighting conditions in a particular hut I had seen and photograph them.

It all depends on how well you communicate.

Ask in your lodge for the Massai village tour. It is possible every day and you do it private. Always have some smaller money with you to buy some jewelry from their small markets.
