Sheep graze along the dyke. It was quite windy so I was surprised to see them on the top rather than lower sheltered areas, but the sky provided a backdrop. The public pathways up to the dyke were also closed, not sure if that was seasonal or due to construction/maintenance.

Photography Tips

this might be an ideal location for summer sunsets. It wasn't the best weather and I really used the trip to scout out some locations.

Bike would probably be ideal in the summers, parking is limited to the mainland parking areas.
