Netherlands The Drenkelingenhuisje (shipwreck house)
This Drenkelingenhuisje (shipwreck house) is located on the west part of the Vlieland island. In 1865 it was approved by the minister of interior affairs that a wooden construction would be erected as a shelter for survivors of shipwrecks. The current shelter is not the original, as it disappeared in a storm in 1962. The cabin is a complete replica from around 2000.
