The Jokin cliffs are sacred for the locals (also called “the two nostrils” in English because of their nose-like shape), served as burial grounds reserved for tribal chiefs.

You can photograph the cliffs for the upper platform or the lower platform. Bring a polarizer to reduce the sun reflection.

This island is only accessible by plane : check on New Caledonia Tourism Office website which tour operator you should go with.
When you're parked, follow the trail to the 200 steps staircase that leads to a platform equipped for swimming.
