This is a great place to stay overnight if you are heading to Wharariki Beach. There is a small campground which has all the facilities you need. The image has been taken right in front of one of the cabins. You can walk for miles along the beach, sometimes without seing a single soul.

Photography Tips

Same as in Wharariki, it can be very windy here. So bring a STURDY tripod for long exposures.

By car, there is plenty of parking within the campground.
