Getting the drift wood lining up with the waterfall. Get there for sunrise and bring a tripod.

Travel Information

There is plenty of parking however you really need to get there before sunrise with a 1 hour 43 min drive from Te Anau. There is limited accommodation at Milford Sound. Mid to low tide for the reflections is the best. From the car park there is a 5 min walk around the track then out onto the sany rocky beach. Ensure good footwear.
