Kilkenny Lookout is located on Lower Buller Gorge Road (State Highway 6) near Westport. here the Buller river passes in a nice loop, which looks very well as a picture.

I used a drone to get the loop in the whole on the picture and see the valley. Pay attention to the current drone laws.
