New Zealand Cape Farewell, Farewell Spit
Cape Farewell is a rough cliff site next to the famous Wharariki Beach with a beautiful small arch that reminds of Étretat cliffs in France.
It is the most northerly point on the South Island and located just west of Farewell Spit.

Photography Tips
Place a person for scale and use some gras as foreground for some more dynamics in the picture. I used a 24-70mm lens.
Travel Information
From the parking lot it is a small walk to the lookout point. Don´t miss it, to walk 200-300 meters right to the cliffs to get some other perspectives than the common one.
Watch out for strong winds and take care.
