New Zealand Small lake and ocean view, Abel Tasman Coast Track
Abel Tasman National Park is renowned for its golden beaches, sculptured granite cliffs, and its world-famous coast track. It is therefore not surprising, that the 60km Coast Track is one of the Great Walks in New Zealand, which you normally do in 4 days.
Photography Tips
During the day a like more minimalistic shots. If you focus on that for some time, you can find really cool other / different perspectives than your classic normal landscape shots. In this one I like the colorful contrast between the freshwater lake and the salty ocean.
Travel Information
Start your hike in Marahau. You can hike some parts of the Great Walk. To avoid to hike the same way back, you can book a water taxi from different bays in advance or on the day in the visitor center.
There is also the option to drive with a water taxi into the National Park in the morning and hike all the way out to the visitor center.
