Bring circular polarizing filter with you. Be careful of the slippery rocks. Water is cold during winter. Best time to shoot is around noon as the sunlight falls on the rocks, made it looks reddish and vibrant.

10 minutes drive from the city of Greymouth. Situated at the township of Runanga. There's parking area and it is 1 km walking from the parking to the waterfall.
