New Zealand Doubtful Sound

Like Milford Sound but less busy, the Doubtful Sound cruise was for 24 hours. This was the sheltered water where the boat stays overnight. The scenery is spectacular and the fishing is great!

The weather can be bad so wet weather gear for the camera as well as yourself is a good idea.

Travel Information

You will need to book a cruise. The town of Te Anau is the departure point. A bus takes you to the boat dock at the sound. The bus ride is very pretty as well.
