This old tree sparked my eye when hiking along the waterfalls trails. It has an insanely twisted branch and stem structure.

Photography Tips

Look for natural light filtering through the branches of the tree. Use a tripod or the internal VR form your camera / lens to steady shots in low light. Focus on details like leaves, textures, and patterns. A very wide lens helps here.

Travel Information

That special tree is located out on the hike when you doing the round trip along the Whangarui Falls. Dont miss to take a loop walk. Dont just do the waterfall.
