Alex Knob is one of New Zealand's finest day hikes, rewarding hikers with spectacular panoramic views of Fox Glacier, Aoraki / Mount Cook, Mount Tasman, and the surrounding Southern Alps. The summit rises above the rainforest into alpine terrain, offering breathtaking scenery across glacier-carved valleys and snow-capped peaks.
Photography Tips
If you have person in frame for the adventure character or scale, it will add up a lot to the frame and the photo. Take care on contrasts and colors with the clothes of the person so it pops out better.
Travel Information
