New Zealand Alex Knob Off Trail Camping

Alex Knob is one of New Zealand's finest day hikes, rewarding hikers with spectacular panoramic views of Fox Glacier, Aoraki / Mount Cook, Mount Tasman, and the surrounding Southern Alps. The summit rises above the rainforest into alpine terrain, offering breathtaking scenery across glacier-carved valleys and snow-capped peaks.

Photographing out of the tent isn't the easiest. Make sure to bring a super wide angle and play around with the exposure.

Generally camping along the trail is not permitted. If you however, stay around 200m away from the end of the trail, thats accepted and gives you a great chance to sleep up there.
