The free campervan area at the southern end of Lake Pukaki is one of New Zealand's most iconic overnight spots, offering uninterrupted views across the turquoise glacial lake toward Aoraki / Mount Cook. Its peaceful lakeside setting, incredible sunsets, and world-class stargazing make it a favorite stop for road trippers and photographers.
