You have to start at Preikestolhytta, during the summer season you may not get a parking lot there and have to park near the campground further down the road.

Where did you get the shot from mate? The orange marker is the position you were standing? Or did you use the yellow one (direction you were shooting) for that?

In mountain areas it is nearly impossible to guess the position via google maps, but it is more like the orange one :-)

Yeah that's true. I asked because Preikestolen itself is marked on the map at the yellow marker and I wasn't sure what exactly this place is about. For areas like this I use the earth view. That's usually easier to find where you got that shot. Love these results by the way and they really want me to go travel there as soon as possible!! ;)

I wasn't so sure about the difference between the red and orange marker but as i see now, the red one says "picture was taken here". I'll edit that.
