Photography Tips
An upstream view delivers a mesmerizing perspective, as you essentially engulf the viewer with water tumbling down from upper Åslielva. Look for mushrooms in early fall and flowers in spring. Winter should be good as well; with many frozen features, this river establishes a mood quickly and convincingly.
Travel Information
Finding a good parking space isn't hard. The hike towards the river isn't either. There are proper waymarkings everywhere and the footpaths are easily traversed. Caution: Both bears and wolves have been spotted nearby, so prepare accordingly. They're not to fear, but are worth considering.
