Norway Innerdalsvatna Lake

The Innerdalen valley has been called Norway's most beautiful high valley. No car traffic, the sound of waterfalls and lakes surrounded by majestic mountains - you can find peace here. The hike into the valley runs along a dirt road. There is a small cafe where you can have a coffee and waffle!

Photography Tips

I tried to get very close to the surface for better reflection results since the water wasn't too calm. It was an overcast day which helped deal with lights and shadows. I recommend coming here for sunrise or sunset to catch some mountain glow!

Travel Information

You can park at the designated parking area for the Innerdalen valley. It does cost a bit (can not remember), but there was a restroom. The hike is fairly easy despite a steep start. The entire valley is very pictures and its nice to wander around!
