Hjelle is a settlement and formerly a center in Hjelledalen in Stryn in Vestland county. The place is on the east side of Oppstrynsvatnet, towards Strynefjellet, and had its own hotel. The hotel at Hjelle was originally a shuttle station for travelers across the mountain.
