Kjerna, the Preikestolen of the North is a not so well known amazing mountain off the beaten track. You will barely find any people on the hike. Enjoy the nature for yourself.

Photography Tips

If you are alone, you can use your drone in order to create the same image which would normally be possible by a camera or you use your tripod with a timer. Definitely use a person for scale in order to show the massive drop.

Travel Information

There is no official parking lot, however check the map for the parking position next to an energy generator close to the street. The hike is market but mostly leads through nature without a proper hiking path. The elevation gain is around 400m on a distance of 3km.
