Rottenvikfossen is a beautiful layered waterfall in the southeast of the northern part of Lyngen. The drop height in total is a stunning 126m.

Photography Tips

When youre alone and want to take that adventurous shot, take a tripod with you. Once set, you would need to do an interval on the camera to get photos done while your standing in front of the falls.

Travel Information

Parking will be registered by scanning the license plate when entering the road up to the parking lot. Make sure to pay the fees. The hike / walk takes around 30 minutes to get to the waterfall on a quiet easy going path along a river. Only the last section has a slight climb in altitude.
