Ponta de São Lourenço, the easternmost part of Madeira is a natural park with a panoramic view of the Atlantic and spectacular volcanic rock formations. Compared to the rest of the island, the landscape is unique.

Photography Tips

Be careful at the edge of the cliff! To get the whole field of view on the image is a focal length equal to less than 16mm on full frame necessary.

Travel Information

Park your car at the roundabout at the end of the road. Up to this view, there are then about 20 minutes on foot.

Hey Marek, I bought the Canon RF 16mm just one day before my trip... and i was so happy because 17mm aren't enough if you'll stand on the top of the hill ;-) Greetings from Germany, Oliver

Thanks for the info. Yeah, according to the PhotoPills it seems that 17mm is just not wide enough. Well, I'll try with pano then. Viele Grüße aus Polen :)
