The starting point Parque Florestal das Queimadas offers a beautiful view of old, traditional houses right at the beginning. In addition, the hike along the levada is worth every step. Great vegetation, deep gorges and waterfalls.

Photography Tips

The houses lend themselves to combining landscape and architecture. You can try out a lot here: Play with the foreground or a clear picture, different lenses. I personally find 24-70mm the most ideal here.

Travel Information

As the spot is located directly at the car park, it cannot be overlooked. The way up to the car park is easily accessible by car and only involves a few bends.
