Great lookout as it is the highest point in the area. often the spot is above the could and fog level of the surrounding valley creating amazing shots of the distant mounting range.
Photography Tips
Make sure to have a tripod and maybe a telelense to get the most out of the scenery. Shoot the mounting range of Pico Ruivo and Pico Areeiro.
Travel Information
You can park directly beside the street. the way up to the lookout is a 10-minute walk (make sure to have a torch if you are planning to shoot sunrise/sunset because, with fog and clouds, it gets pitch black at night).
