The southern Algarve is known for its rugged coastline with its many small outcrops and picturesque cliffs. The coast off Portimao is particularly beautiful for a short hike along the rocks. Especially at sunset, the rocks shine in their most beautiful colors.

Go to the spot at sunset. You will encounter almost no people. Take your time and use the time early on to find different perspectives for yourself.

Travel Information

The marked parking lot is easy to reach. From there, you can walk to the spot in around 20-25 minutes. Wear sturdy shoes when walking along the rocks.
