The Miradouro da Ponta do Sossego is one of the most beautiful viewpoints on the Azorean island of São Miguel, Portugal. This viewpoint was subject to restoration and maintenance works whose inauguration took place on July 18, 1995.

Make sure to include the beautiful s-curved path inside your photo, which is a great additional element in your photo, while still making sure that the horizon is straight.

There is parking directly nearby to this beautiful viewpoint in the eastern part of Sao Miguel. Just follow the main street that's the only one leading through this area of the island.
Comin from the south side can be an adventure, worth it but not a "quick" trip up the coast. give yourself time for traveling if you want to be there for a specific time of day for photographing.
