The capital of the Slovenian Alps, where you stand with one foot in the city and the other one in nature. Kranj looks more like a small quaint town but its the fourth largest city in Slovenia and as the capital of the Slovenian Alps it is considered the cultural heart of Slovenia because of the greatest Slovenian poet France Prešeren. In all honesty, the town is a bit deserted but it does not diminish one bit from its beauty.

The town is quaint with colored houses and impressive churches and a blue hour is recommended.
