Spain Bay at Caló des Moro, Cala Llombards, Mallorca

This hidden bay with its small beach is a real treasure. Located on private property, the owners care about preserving the surrounding nature and actively prevent the construction of a hotel complex in order to continue to enable public access. No longer an insider tip, this place is packed with people during the day.

A wide-angle lens is recommended to fit the whole bay in one frame. As mentioned, this is a very popular beach with lots of tourists. In order to avoid the masses, visit this spot early in the morning or in the evening when most visitors have left. The sun aligns with the beach during sunrise.

Due to the high number of visitors, a large parking lot free of charge has been set up just outside. Parking is largely prohibited on the streets immediately surrounding the bay, and this is meticulously enforced!

From the street "Carrer des Caló des Moro" you get direct access to the bay of Cala s'Almunia via a set of long and steep stairs. Beware, there is no access for disabled people. From the bottom of the stairs, turn left, pass the small Fisherman's houses, and follow the landscaped and protected path for a few minutes.
