This spot is right next to the famous polar bear sign on the edge of town, to the east. This view is looking down the road which leads out of town, towards the snow-covered mountains.

best shot on a zoom lens for this perspective/composition. If you go during the Winter you may need a tripod or at least a lens with a low F-Stop in order to get this shot, as it will probably be quite dark.

Travel Information

You can park at the side of the road, just ensure you are not blocking the road at all. You can walk here from town though. Make sure you DO NOT go beyond the polar bear sign without a guide as this is illegal.
