Long Beaches stretch along the Tundra. Sometimes they can be black sand beaches but in some cases, there is beautifully white sand beaches along the shores.

Photography Tips

Svalbard has very strict regulations when it comes to flying drone. You need to obtain a special permit and you need to respect the no-fly zones. This area was alright to fly (as of summer 2025).

In order to get here, you would need to join a multi-day expedition ship. Most of the trips starting in Longyearbyen.
